Pricing Rules Update: More Flexible Actions, Rounding, and Results Preview (Beta)

The automated pricing rules module has been significantly upgraded — new action logic based on competitor/supplier availability, flexible price rounding, and an improved results view. Currently in Beta.

What's new

Price rounding at the rule-group level
Three rounding types (mathematical, round down, round up) with precision down to 1 kopeck, 10 kopecks, 1 hryvnia, or 10 hryvnias. An additional adjustment option (e.g. -0.01) lets all prices end on a specific digit (e.g. .99).

Improved results dialog
The "View Results" button now lets you filter by a specific rule and see whether it was triggered at all. Clicking a product shows prices as of the repricing run (clearly labeled as not current prices), plus quick access to the full product card and price history.

New variables for rule execution conditions
Added Competitor Price, Competitor Price Raw, and Result Price, enabling more complex conditions (e.g. apply the rule only if the calculated price is lower than the promo price).

Fully redesigned Actions tab
Four clear scenarios based on competitor/supplier availability (both present / competitors only / suppliers only / neither). Each scenario can be configured independently: calculate price, set a fixed margin, clear the price, or move to the next rule in the chain.

These changes make it possible to build both simple rules and complex multi-step rule chains.

Why it matters

More flexible pricing logic without needing custom scripts — nearly any realistic client scenario can now be covered with standard rule configuration.

Availability

This feature is in Beta — available on request via your account manager or support chat. Clients with an active Dynamic Pricing module can already see the new capabilities. Existing configured rules remain unchanged. We'd love your feedback and suggestions while testing! 🤗
